Welcome to Tangwystl.

These Terms & Conditions apply when you use Tangwystl.co, purchase something from the Tangwystl shop or join the Tangwystl online community.

Please read them before making a purchase or becoming a member.

Throughout these terms, “Tangwystl”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the business above.

The Tangwystl Shop

Products offered through Tangwystl.co will be described as accurately as reasonably possible.

Because some Tangwystl products may be handmade, vintage, second-hand, refashioned or produced in small quantities, natural variation and signs of previous life may form part of their character. Where relevant, these will be described or photographed before purchase.

Product availability is not guaranteed until an order has been accepted.

Prices and Payment

Prices shown in the Tangwystl shop will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

Any delivery charges or other applicable costs will be shown before payment.

Payment for shop purchases is processed securely through the payment methods available at checkout.

Shop Orders

Placing an order is an offer to purchase the items in your basket.

We may occasionally be unable to accept an order, for example because an item is no longer available, a pricing error has occurred or we cannot deliver to the requested location.

If payment has already been taken for an order we cannot fulfil, it will be refunded.

Delivery

Available delivery areas, estimated delivery times and delivery charges will be shown at checkout where applicable.

We will take reasonable care to dispatch orders promptly. Occasionally delays may happen for reasons outside our control.

Returns, Cancellations & Faulty Goods

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

For most goods purchased online, UK consumers normally have a legal right to change their mind and notify us that they wish to cancel within 14 days of receiving their order.

After notifying us, goods should normally be returned within the applicable legal return period.

Unless an item is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, or we agree otherwise, you may be responsible for the cost of returning it.

Some goods may be exempt from change-of-mind cancellation rights where the law allows, including certain personalised or bespoke items. Any relevant exception will be made clear before purchase.

If an item arrives faulty, damaged, not as described or not fit for purpose, please contact us as soon as possible so we can put things right.

The Tangwystl Community

The Tangwystl community is a paid online gathering space hosted through Skool.

It is intentionally a community rather than a content subscription.

Membership does not promise a particular number of courses, downloads, live sessions, challenges, events, posts or other pieces of content.

From time to time we may choose to hold informal gatherings, shared experiments, craft sessions, challenges or other activities. These are optional and are not guaranteed as part of membership.

Nothing to keep up with. Nothing to complete. Just somewhere to belong.

Community Membership Fees

Current membership pricing is displayed on the Tangwystl Skool joining page before purchase.

Membership is currently available on monthly and annual recurring plans.

Payments are processed through Skool and may also be subject to Skool's own terms and payment processes.

Where prices are charged in US dollars, any approximate GBP figure shown by Tangwystl is for guidance only. The actual GBP cost may vary according to exchange rates and your payment provider.

Recurring Membership

Tangwystl membership renews automatically according to the billing period you select when joining, unless cancelled before the next renewal.

You can cancel your membership through your Skool account.

Cancelling stops future renewal. Unless otherwise required by law or stated at the time of cancellation, access normally continues until the end of the period already paid for.

Cooling-off Rights & Membership Refunds

Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by these terms.

Where UK consumer cancellation rights apply to a new online membership, they will be honoured in accordance with applicable law.

Because access to the community begins when your membership is approved and activated, please contact us promptly if you wish to exercise a legal cooling-off or cancellation right.

Outside any statutory right to a refund, refunds may be considered fairly on a case-by-case basis.

Cancelling a membership does not itself automatically create a refund for a period that has already been paid for.

Community Culture

Tangwystl is a carefully tended, human-first space.

By joining, you agree to help us protect a culture built around kindness, authenticity, privacy, thoughtful conversation and genuine human connection.

Our community rules include:

• being kind and respectful

• no AI-generated posts or content

• no spam, advertising or selling

• no unsolicited promotional DMs

• respecting other members' privacy

• respecting different lives, beliefs and experiences

Moderation & Removal

We reserve the right to moderate, hide or remove posts, comments or other material that we reasonably believe breaches our rules or harms the safety, privacy or spirit of Tangwystl.

We also reserve the right to suspend or remove a member where there has been a serious or repeated breach of the community rules, or where their behaviour is reasonably considered harmful to the community or its members.

Where appropriate, we may remove a member immediately.

Any refund following removal will be handled fairly, taking account of the circumstances and applicable consumer law.

Member Content & Privacy

You remain responsible for the words, photographs and other material you choose to share within the community.

Please only share material that belongs to you or that you have permission to share.

Members must not copy, screenshot, republish or share another member's private community content outside Tangwystl without their permission.

Although we ask members to respect one another's privacy, no online community can guarantee that another individual will never copy or disclose something shared there. Please use your own judgement when sharing sensitive personal information.

Human-Created Community

Tangwystl has been deliberately created as a human-first community.

Members are asked not to use generative AI to create posts, comments, images or other community contributions presented as their own.

Using accessibility tools, spelling assistance or other supportive technology is not intended to prevent anyone from participating.

Personal Experiences, Not Professional Advice

Tangwystl is a place for conversation and the sharing of personal experiences.

Posts and discussions may touch on wellbeing, neurodivergence, spirituality, relationships, money, work, health or significant life decisions.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, these conversations are not medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice.

Please seek appropriately qualified help when you need professional guidance.

Optional Community Activities

Participation in any Tangwystl challenge, experiment, gathering, craft session, walk, wellbeing practice or other suggested activity is entirely optional.

You are responsible for deciding whether an activity is appropriate for your own circumstances, health, abilities and environment.

There is never any requirement to participate in order to remain a member.

Availability of the Community

We will take reasonable care to keep Tangwystl available, but access may occasionally be interrupted by maintenance, technical problems, changes to Skool or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Because Tangwystl uses a third-party community platform, continued availability of specific Skool features is not entirely within our control.

Our Responsibility

We will provide Tangwystl's services with reasonable care.

We are not responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control or for the independent actions, opinions or advice of other community members.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

Ending or Closing Tangwystl

We hope Tangwystl will be around for a very long time.

However, if we ever need to close the paid community permanently, members will be given reasonable notice where possible and any amounts legally due for unused paid membership periods will be dealt with fairly and in accordance with applicable law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time, for example because Tangwystl changes or the law changes.

The latest version will always be available on Tangwystl.co with the date of the most recent update.

Where a change materially affects an existing paid membership, we will communicate it appropriately.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to Tangwystl as a business based in Wales.

Nothing in these terms removes any mandatory consumer protection or legal rights you may have where you live.
